Along with creating a new advertising template comes the task of helping others (of all creative abilities) repeat the process accurately and efficiently. I designed these guidelines around a system that does just that. Utilizing a grid I was able to create consistent proportions and ensure a consistent look from 1/4 page print ads to full size billboard placement. A system was created for print, online and outdoor, each addressing unique variables such as type size, readability and image style. The result is a system that can easily be used by novice or expert to quickly and accurately create or resize ads for any placement.
