Bio-Catalytic Enterprises produces completely green microbial and enzyme solutions for a variety of markets. Agricultural, commercial, industrial, food services, and even in the home. Little enzymes and microbes that can do amazing things. Some literally digest oil spills while others can stimulate a plants roots creating more effective osmosis and off-the-charts growth. Completely green solutions for a wide spectrum of markets.
I knew the new mark needed to convey a few things to an array of viewers. My concept was to create a bridge from ‘green’ to ‘science’. In my research I looked at the science behind the products and found that water is the harmless, common ingredient that activates or enables the specially grown enzymes/microbes to do the task mother nature evolved them for. After a lot of sketching I saw that the ‘b’ of bio-cat could be a water droplet. After some more sketching I discovered the negative space creating a leaf behind it. And like that a logo was born, as simple as earth intended — a solution had evolved.
